Clive Randall named Distinguished Professor at PSU

Congratulations Clive!

 

The title of Distinguished Professor is bestowed on full-time faculty members who hold the rank of professor and are acknowledged leaders in their fields of research or creative activity; demonstrate significant leadership in raising the University’s standards in teaching, research, or creative activity and service; and exhibit excellent teaching skills.

The Dean of the College of Earth and Mineral Sciences at Pennsylvania State University announced that Professor Clive Randall has been awarded the title of Distinguished Professor of Materials Science and Engineering.

Clive is a world leader in ceramics and functional materials, and his work has had tremendous impact on the electroceramics industry; as the inspirational director of the Materials Research Institute, he’s established a Humanitarian Materials effort that places Penn State at the forefront of using materials for the betterment of society across the globe.
