2024 Buessem Award Winner – Hirokazu Chazono

Hirokazu Chazono received his Bachelor of Engineering (1983), Master of Engineering degrees (1985) and Doctoral degrees (2004) from the Keio University. He joined Taiyo
Yuden Co., Ltd., in the Materials Research and Development division in 1985. He quickly progressed through the company and served as the executive officer of General R&D
Laboratories from 2003. After that, he held management roles for the MLCC and Inductor division business groups as chief executive officer until June of 2024. He now acts as a
technical adviser to Taiyo Yuden. Congratulations!!
